Gypsum Board: Success in the Field
Gypsum often occupies 60-75% of the visible space inside a building. When done correctly, it is often invisible with other products covering it. This presentation will provide basic information to achieve the best possible outcome in application. National Gypsum will share information based on common questions from the architectural community. Industry documents to help all concerned support correct job site conditions and installation procedures will be reviewed.

Learning Objectives:
- Attendees will receive an overview of common application questions from architects related to gypsum products
- Presentation will share how to investigate jobsites with correct information and industry tools
- Presentation will share how governing bodies like ASTM, the Gypsum Association and the Drywall Finishing Counsel support good practices in application.
- Presentation will review best practices for gypsum installation and product/jobsite situations to be avoided.

In order to keep this event free to attend, lunch will not be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their own to have during this event.
About Out Presenter:
Thad Goodman is a Construction Design Manager for National Gypsum. His primary responsibilities are education of gypsum assemblies and product placement to the architectural community. He has been an Academies Product Rep Track Leader, spoken for McGraw Hill at seminars concerning 3 Part Specifications and Guide Specs for Building Product Manufacturers. He is the current Institute Academic Programs Committee Chairperson and serves on the CSI Foundation.
