Technical Roundtable: Specifying Windows, Doors, and Skylights Using Performance Standards

When:  Jan 10, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (CT)
Associated with  Chicago

Description

The North American Fenestration Standard - AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 - and its predecessors have all been milestones in a decades-long effort to provide a level playing field for objectively evaluating the performance characteristics and quality attributes of fenestration products regardless of their framing material.   Key features make the standard a practical tool for architects and specifiers. These include:

  • Performance Based
  • Material Neutral
  • Referenced by IBC and IRC
  • Multinational in Scope
This roundtable will provide you a better understanding of these standards and how to be successful in using them.
