Description

Spheres of Influence in Project Delivery and the Project Point of Entry

Presented by: Matt Nordloh, CSI, CCPR, LEED GA | Integrating Products, LLC

We will engage in lively and insightful conversation as we chart along an x-y graph the interrelated and at times disconnected spheres of influence between the various types of products representatives, designers, owner team participants, and project phasing. Many product decisions are made throughout the development of the contract documents - but not always. Depending on the nature of who, what, why, where, and when, there are spheres of influence that matter at different project phases. Ideally, “partnering is an expressed commitment to proactive cooperation during the execution of the project, amounting to enlightened self-interest common among project participants.” * However, people, places, and products most often vary from project to project and thus so do spheres of influence.

This discussion is meant to be insightful and extend an appreciation for a process that at times is like herding cats! No matter what role in the construction industry you serve you are bound to find the presentation at least therapeutic! We likely won’t solve anything, however without you it won’t be as fun!
