August 2019 Chapter Update

By Eric D. Lussier posted 08-06-2019 10:03 PM

And just like that, we're in August and the students are a few short weeks away from returning to the Vermont colleges and schools.
August also traditionally brings the heart of the construction season and many general contractors and subcontractors undoubtedly find themselves up against many upcoming deadlines around the area.
One of the exciting projects going up around the Queen City is the new location for the Greater Burlington YMCA. Approaching a year into construction, the building is entering some exciting phases and we're exciting to offer a hardhat tour on Wednesday, September 11th at 5pm.
Capacity is limited, so plan to register soon! Attendance is just $10 and we'll be donating half of our proceeds back to the YMCA.
You can read more about this long awaited project by visiting the YMCA website.
Your CSI Vermont Board of Directors will also be meeting this coming Wednesday, August 14th in Downtown Burlington. If you're interested in attending, please email me.
My Best,
Eric Lussier
CSI Vermont Chapter President
